Welcome, I'm Alex and this is my site I was born in Canberra, Australia. My parents immigrated to Australia after the second world war. My father came in 1949 and my mother arrived in 1956 with my brother who was 6 years old at the time. My father was a prisoner of war in Germany for about 4 years. He graduated from the army academy in Belgrade and was a captain in the kings army. When he arrived in Australia he spent some time in Sydney before moving to Canberra where he took up residency.
